About Okura's Okazome (In-glaze)
In-glaze is called as Okazome in Okura.
Drawing way is same as over-glaze's one, but
Firing degree is same as under-glaze's.
The contents of paint are cobalt and graze.
Cobalt is very heavy material, so firing with strictly high temperature
make cobalt sink into glaze. It soften the tones of brush and
make the dish's acidproof stronger.
Okura's Okazome can be light fired on the progress
same as other in-glaze works,
but for my surprize,
the fixation is much more weak than other in-glazes.
So, I scratched the surface instantly on the paddinged background !
It made me to struggle to juggle the scars....
